Born and raised in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, Michael Cabot is a singer-songwriter with a style all his own, making his music difficult to pigeon-hole. Though influenced by classic artists like Harry Chapin, Jim Croce, and John Denver, his fans say that – depending upon the song – he reminds them of everything from Bob Seger to Hall & Oates.

Whether picking or strumming his collection of six and twelve-string guitars or on keyboards, Michael Cabot presents a nostalgic, “unplugged”, and refreshingly almost-raw performance reminiscent of the great 1970’s Folk scene. Be it Chapin’s Taxi, Denver’s Rocky Mountain High, or his very own The Story of Me and You, Michael Cabot proves that you don’t need strobe lights and pyrotechnics to appreciate good music.

“I wanted to thank you for playing at Shawnee Ridge. It was an absolutely incredible show and the residents loved it and requested you back the second time. We look forward to having you back again and highly recommend you to anyone looking for great talented entertainment. Thank you!”
